SMM Updates During COVID-19
- 10/21/21: Mass for the 30th Sunday in Ordinary Time will be live streamed at 4:30pm on Saturday and available on our YouTube Channel after it streams. The bulletin & worship aid for this weekend are also available online.
- 10/19/21: Priest Retreat - The priests of the Diocese of Wilmington will be on a Mandatory Priest Retreat next week, beginning Oct. 25th. All Masses at SMM will be covered. Please pray for them as they take this time to gather together.
- 10/19/21: Flu Shot Clinic - Sunday Oct. 24th, SMM will hold a flu shot clinic in the church hall 9:30am to 12pm. Rite Aid medical staff will be on site to conduct the clinic. We still have a few time slots left. Registration required, sign up through our reservation site. You do not need to be a parishioner. Please bring a completed Vaccine Consent Form & a copy of your insurance card.
Rite Aid accepts most insurance plans, including Express Scripts, Caremark, OptumRx, Medimpact, Cigna, Humana, Medicaid, Medicare Parts B and D, and many more. You can also choose to pay for your vaccine with cash or check. Flu Vaccine Information Sheet- 10/16/21: Confirmation 2021 - We are excited to have 80 students receiving the sacrament of Confirmation today at 11am. Please keep these students in your intentions and continue to support them on their faith journey. The event was live streamed and can be veiwed on our YouTube channel.
- 10/12/21: Children's Liturgy of the Word - We will restart our tradition of Children's Liturgy of the Wordon 11/7, 11/21, 12/5, and 12/19. During the 8:30am Sunday Mass, our children will be invited to come down to the Church Hall for singing, prayer, and hearing God's Word, rejoining their families in church before Holy Communion. Please have your children wear masks. If your child is interested in reading, please contact Meghan Cavanaugh.
- 9/26/21: 70th Anniversary - We had a beautiful day for St. Mary Magdalen's 70th Anniversary Mass & celebration reception on the rectory lawn. Visit our 70th Anniversary photo album to view pictures from the event. Thank you to everyone that helped to make this event happen and to those who celebrated with us!
