2024 Faith and Charity Catholic Appeal Update:

As the 2024 Faith & Charity Appeal gets underway, the Diocese has provided us with an update of the St. Mary Magdalen contributions. We currently have $150,940.93 pledged and have collected $149,716.43. This represents 93.20% of our parish goal of $161,950. Please consider helping us meet our goal by donating today! Any monies received over our target go straight back to SMM for our own parish & ministry needs. Thank you!

$5,400,515.03 has been raised towards the diocesan goal of $5,125,000.00.

The Annual Catholic Appeal of the Diocese of Wilmington is now be called the Faith and Charity Appeal.  We are grounded in faith, and we are called to charity.

One Body, One Spirit in Christ  is the theme of this year's appeal. In recognizing our unity as one body, we acknowledge the strength that comes from the Spirit of Christ among us. 2024 Faith and Charity Appeal – “One Body, One Spirit in Christ"

The 2024 Faith and Charity Catholic Appeal will be conducted in parishes throughout the diocese on April 20 & 21. Once a year, our Bishop asks each of us to make a commitment to support the work of diocesan programs and ministries that provide services that no one parish can offer on its own. Your gift helps our Church to serve the poor, the sick, the distressed, our children and our elderly.

As parishioners of St. Mary Magdalen, we are being asked to serve others by sharing our resources. Your generosity enables us to accompany our brothers and sisters in need.

Our parish target is $161,950. Your financial support of the Appeal also provides funding for our parish since once achieving the goal assigned to our parish, once we are over goal, we receive 100% of monies collected for our own parish and ministry needs.

Please prayerfully consider your generous gift to this Faith and Charity Catholic Appeal. Kindly decide ahead of time the contribution you wish to make this year and come to church next week prepared to complete your pledge and offer your support to our parish, and the Diocese of Wilmington.
