Registration & payment for PREP classes is online. You will need to print and return to Karen Yasik Form A, which can also be scanned and emailed back.
A $25 late fee will be added to registrations after August 1, 2023.
Biggest change - parents are allowed to park and come in with your children, especially the little ones! The teachers want to get to know you better!
Classes for PREP will be from 9:30-11AM on Sundays, in-person with few exceptions, beginning in September. I don't intend to hold a virtual day trial this year; I am adding back in a few longer "family days" and they should make up any time, plus we've done them enough that hopefully we all know how!
As I said, I am using this year to bring back a few of the "family days." These will run 2 hours (9:30-11:30) and enable us to still be off holidays. This school year, Easter is early - March 31st - so it means we have to be all done with classes by mid-March! In order to get the diocesan-required hours of instruction in, I think adding a few of those may be our best bet, rather than starting before Labor Day.
For those who choose to homeschool, I did not buy the digital format - I think more people appreciated the actual book - so you will have to scan the work and email it to me, especially the unit tests at the end of each "group" of chapters. I will have worksheets etc, in the google classrooms along with videos and optional activities as well. THIS WAS PERMITTED DURING SACRAMENTAL YEARS ONLY DURING COVID - NOW ALL 1ST, 2ND, 7TH AND 8TH GRADE STUDENTS MUST ATTEND CLASS WITH THE COMMUNITY.
You will need to bring books back and forth. We will have crayons, pencils etc, in the rooms but text books will have to be in a bookbag with your child.
