We are always looking for more people to get involved!  The more involvement, the more social opportunities we could have here at our Parish!  In the past, we have had events such as beef & beers and the SMM festival.  

This page will give you an idea of some of the adult social opportunities
we offer throughout the year.  

Women 25 and older are invited to come out on March 12th and 26th from 5:30-7pm for all-female pick-up basketball games at the SMM Gym.  Lace up your sneakers, bring a friend and come out for some fun on the court.  All skill levels are welcome to join us.

In July we celebrate our Midsummer Wine & Cheese event on the Major Feast of St. Mary Magdalen.

Pope Francis has given St. Mary Magdalen a special honor, and has made her feast day equal to the feasts of the Apostles, as the first witness to the Resurrection.
 
As a parish we joined together for Evening Prayer at 6PM followed by our 8th annual Midsummer Wine and Cheese in 2022 in the Garden of St. Benedict at 6:15PM.  

The parish provided wine, beer, lemonade & bottled water.  If your last name began with A-P you were asked to bring a hors d'oeuvre.  If your last name began with Q-Z you were asked to bring a dessert. 

We look forward to always celebrating this feast day as a parish!

The women responsible for our SMM Ladies' Nights, Monica Hill & Madeline Rice, put together themed evening, talks, and outtings throughout the year with various speakers and guests.  

There is no charge for these events (except for outtings) BUT a free will offering is taken to help pay for the speakers, decorations and general eventing expenses.  Thank you to our hosts Monica Hill & Madeline Rice.

March 2020, St. Mary Magdalen will hold our 7th Annual Celebration of Married Life by hosting a Lucky in Love Dinner Saturday, March 7th 6-8pm.  All that attend will enjoyed a delicious free dinner, wine & fellowship!  RSVP instructions will be posted in the bulletin & online.  Babysitting provided. 

February 2019, SMM will hold it's 6th Annual Celebration of Married Life by hosting a Valentine's Day Brunch Sunday, Feb. 10th from 2-4:30PM in the church hall.  All that attend will enjoy a delicious free brunch, wine & fellowship!  RSVP instructions will be posted int eh bulletin in January & February.
