A warm welcome is extended to all who come to St. Mary Magdalen Parish. We are a diverse and vibrant community of people sharing faith and worship together. The parish priest is here to help you come to a greater knowledge and practice of the faith, along with a group of religious and lay members of the parish and school community who have responded to the call to assist in various ministries. We have many activities and encourage you to actively participate and serve in our parish life and become part of the parish community through ministry, volunteerism, education and social opportunities.
New parishioners are invited to register online. Please fill out to the best of your ability the Parish Registration Online Form. Once sumbitted, if we have any additional quesitons we will reach out. You are always in our prayers, and you are always welcome to worship with us, but being properly registered is important so that we can:
Please call the Parish Office if you have any questions if you are a registered parishioner, or if you should register? 302-652-6800
Often, people come to us and request a sacrament, ask to be a godparent, volunteer to help with a liturgical ministry, or have another need and are surprised to learn they aren’t registered in the parish. If you have adult children who never registered in another parish, they are likely still listed as part of your household. There are dozens of families where this is the case, their adult children (usually aged 20-40) still registered under the parent’s name. All adults over the age of 21, living with their parents or on their own, should register in the parish to be considered parishioners. We have an online database maintained by the parish office and staff members will be happy to check your registration status for you. If you fall under this category and know you are not registered, you can begin the process of registering by following the steps above.
